US Ethanol and Feed Co-Product Agreement
US - Mansfield Renewable Energy has entered into an ethanol and feed co-product marketing agreement with the Red River Energy plant in Rosholt, South Dakota.

The plant, which began grinding at the end of 2011, is forecasting a production capacity of 25 million gallons of ethanol, 36,000 tons of dry distiller grains and 72,000 tons of modified distiller grains per year.

Jon Bjornstad, President of Mansfield Renewable Energy, stated: "We're excited to offer a new line of products and services through our work with Red River Energy. Many of our plant partners have asked us to provide feed marketing options in the past. With Bernie Punt joining our team, we feel like we have found the right leadership to enable us to offer the service. This co-products division allows us to provide a more complete services portfolio as we now offer natural gas supply, denaturant supply, ethanol marketing, corn oil marketing, and risk management services. Adding co-products marketing was an important step toward achieving our goal of providing a one stop shop for our plant partners."

Grain and ethanol pioneer Bernie Punt was recently hired as Field Services Manager for Mansfield Renewable Energy and has managed the agreement in Rosholt. His work across the industry gave great confidence to the Red River Energy team.

"Bernie has a tremendous track record in the cattle feed and distiller' grains arenas," said Mick Miller, General Manager of the Red River Energy plant and President of Energetix, LLC.

"Working with Bernie and the Mansfield team has afforded us the bandwidth and expertise to successfully and efficiently launch co-products sales out of the Red River Plant."
